ADELAIDE has recalled five first-choice players for Friday night's NAB Cup clash against Carlton at AAMI Stadium.
Jared Petrenko (shoulder) and Sam Shaw (knee) have overcome injuries and will play their first games of the year while key onballer Rory Sloane, AFL Rising Star winner Daniel Talia and small goalsneak Ian Callinan have been recalled to the side which was thrashed by Geelong last week.
In a sign that former Saint Tom Lynch has fallen well behind Josh Jenkins and Shaun McKernan as a key forward replacement for Kurt Tippett, he has been dropped from the side and will play in a trial game for his SANFL club Glenelg.
Tough midfielder Aidan Riley also has been omitted from the Crows' 27-man squad.
He will play for Sturt this weekend.
The Crows have only two players on their injury list - running defenders Brodie Smith (collarbone) and Richard Tambling (back).
"We've pretty much got a fit list. Now, we need to get everyone into form,'' said coach Brenton Sanderson, who has been critical of his side's attitude in the NAB Cup.
